R3 SPEC WHEN DECATED

It would have to come from someone who dyno'ed the bike just before removal and then dyno'ed it right after, which I have not. The "butt" dyno test feels like and additional 10 hp.

You will never get that info from Triumph or anything like that. If you found a site other than Triumph to get a cat by-pass, they might sport that info.

Bags are a matter of taste, function and price. If you want hard bags Corbin has your bag. If you want leather with liners, Triumph. If you're looking for lower priced options K-Drive and a zillion others make a pretty decent bag. Just depends on what you're looking for and what you want to carry. Myself I liked the looks of the K-Drive first time I saw them and bought a set from someone in this forum. So look around and, you'll find something that hits all your needs. Regards

Catbox {empty on my '05} elimination made a "butt dyno" difference to me. Haven't quantified it but there sure is a lot less heat & at least 10 lbs. gone from my Rocket now!

Corbin bags. Love them!

Home made stainless glasspack exhaust, catbox gone bye-bye!

Estimates based upon what I've done, watched others do, and watching multiple Rocks in various configs doing many dyno runs.

Fullbox to empty catbox= 2-3 RWHP.
Fullbox to empty cat-bypass= 3-4 RWHP
Empty box to cat bypass= 2 RWHP
3Factory Pipes to 3Off-Road= 2-3 RWHP

Going from a full cat stock pipes to cat bypass and off roads will net 5-7 RWHP with appropriate Triumph tune.

Jardines with a fueler will net 10-12 RWHP
Triple K&N's will add 6-10 RWHP, depending on configuration of exhaust.

Remeber, 5 RWHP on a bike contitutes a solid increase in power, usually measurable by SOTP.

3KN/Jars/competent DynoTune is good for roughly +20/15 RWHP/TQ
Doing what TT did will net a lot of free power, and greatly reduce weight.

Very shortly I'm going to a single Jardine, to reduce another 9 lbs., which may also be good for +1-2 RWHP
