Has anyone done a clutch replacement on our bikes? If so where are the clutch discs and everything located and how do they come apart? I have a 2020 r. I’ve done clutch replacements on past bikes like my old r1 and old cbr1000rr but not sure if it’s anything similar on these bikes. Thanks!

It's the same on all bikes. The clutch pack is a series of pressure plates and fiber plates. Wet or dry it's the same (Triumphs are wet). You need to get a service manual to do it right because there are torque values on everything and doing it 'shade tree' will get you into trouble. Also the clutch should hold up for about 100K miles if you don't abuse it. If you like doing wheelies, burnouts and 1/4 mile tours of your local grandstands it won't last that long. Clutch cover removal is found on page 259 of the shop manual for the 2020 R3 model.

Thanks so much I appreciate it. My bone has 40k miles on it currently. It gets ridden hard but no clutch dumps or wheelies or burn outs or anything like that. I wasn’t sure how long these clutches were supposed to last on these. It doesn’t seem like the clutch is slipping but there are times where it feels like it doesn’t hold as sharp and shift as crisp as it used to if that makes sense.

Thanks so much. Im
Going to read through that. Truly appreciate it

I've not replaced the clutch in the newer model, but as said above it's going to be very similar, if not exactly the same, as the 2.3s. I've done a couple in the past on my '11 Roadster- not hard if you pay attention to the order of the plates coming out and then new ones going in.

Btw, I don't see a kit from Barnett for the 2.5s. I also contacted them to see if it just hadn't been added to their website, but they didn't respond. Customer service in 2020s, as it is....

Getting to the clutch on the 2.5 is the different part. If you're interested, this post will show you what's involved getting to that area....

Yea that’s another thing I was thinking was I guess I have to go to the dealership to actually get parts. Awesome thanks for that link. I’ll check it out. I’m used to sports bikes in terms of doing clutches. Did one on my
Old r1 and old cbr1000rr. Clutch covers look completely different on those style of bikes. I’m not even sure where the clutch plates and clutch cover is located on this rocket 3 but I’ll check out that link!

Just an update if anyone is interested. I just called my local triumph dealer to ask them if they carry a clutch kit. I was told the clutch kit is $200 from triumph. That includes the steel plates and the fiber discs. Does not include springs. She also said they are out of stock in the United States and would be coming from England. I may get them here in the near future just because $200 for a new clutch pack is pretty reasonable especially from a dealership. Just spreading the info for anybody else that may want to change theirs. As I stated above my clutch isn’t slipping, but it doesn’t quite grab gears as sharply as it used to. The bike does have 40,000 miles and it gets ridden pretty hard just for reference.

Also, according to @sunny

these springs fit new Rocket, but I still don't see parts for the new Rockets listed on the EBC or Barnett websites

Are you sure these are for the 2500 bikes? I looked on the EBC website and only saw brake pads offered for those machines.
my friend installed it and he told me order these. he has supercharger TTS 2500cc
