I change mine every 5000 Kms

Thanks! Btw, anyone know why I often have a lot of trouble logging on here? Just doesn't take it, like I never put the info in, other times I get in fine. Fish

Of course there's the always popular Amsoil. More expensive than Jugg's Lucas, but cheaper than the Mobil 1 4T from your dealer. And it meets the spec requirements.

Here's a link to an Amsoil published test of Motorcycle oils. I've posted it a few times, its quite long, and again published by Amsoil.

Disclaimer: Yes, I'm an Amsoil dealer.

Thanks, Harry. So, you liked Amsoil so much you became a dealer? The name reminds me of soy milk... :) I'll read it. Fish

My buddy and I use Amsoil in our race car and all our personal vehicles. Ended up buying so much that it became cheaper to become a dealer and buy at a discount. I have a few friends who order it through my website but I don't really push the stuff. I think I made $6 on commissions one month.

I assume you can't notice the difference in the ride, just good lubrication...?

If your oil is really dirty then a change to any quality synthetic will probably give you a bit of a noticeable improvement. The bike may run a bit quieter and your shifting may be a bit smoother. If you read the test results you'll see that Mobil 1 4T is an excellent oil and would certainly yield the same improvements after a change.

I like Amsoil. I like the fact that its an American made product, and I like the research that is behind their products. That said, its only my opinion and I don't mean to imply that its any better than anyone else.

If you decide you'd like to order some Amsoil products let me know and I'll send you a link to my website. Lots more info there, even if you don't want to order anything. I don't want to post a link since that could be construed as advertising.

GPM ... funny stuff, keep it up!

What's wrong with being 'open and transparent' - just advertise the **** stuff 8)

Thanks, Harry. You can send me any link you have. It should be a good while before I do any oil change as I changed it at 1K and I'm at 4K now. But it will be a year in the fall, so I will do a change before winter. Not sure what I will use yet, but I'll look into the Amsoil. Fish
