Chuck,
I think you missed the point.
I can't speak for the owner of the pictured bike,
but I know for myself,
the last thing I wanted was to have my bike look like anybody elses bike,
and certainly not a harley or harley clone.
I've taken what "fit" me best, a set of road king bars over the Triumph bars.
A homemade sissy bar.
Homemade corbin seat (made by them to fit a harley, modified by me to fit a R3).
Three headlights to add that "personal" touch.
Three inch taller tank, with a hole in it.
No sir, my bike is very UNharley like.
It is black though, but only because bikes are suppose to be black IMHO.
So you keep your "stock" R3,
I'll keep modifying mine till I get it just the way I want it.
I'm glad you aren't me too.
I like being an individual.

I think you missed the point, it is my opinion and you don't have to agree with it. You don't hesitate to express yours so don't get on someone else's case for doing the same.

As for my "stock" R3, I just only changed what I thought needed changed instead of changing things just for the sake of being different. If it is stock show me another one exactly like it.

Skip, your bike doesn't look like that ... maybe close to the positions and angles ... but not like that. There is just something wrong with that bike ... ;)
Maybe because it looks like it was done in a day. Maybe that's it.

You may love it or you may dislike it...looking closely at the pictures...it sure looks like a craftsman was involved with this build.

What I really like and is something I would put at the top of the list for my rather stock R3...look at the cables and wires coming from the handle bar controls...very few. Look at your bike and the wad of wires and cables that exist zip tied to the bars.

I'd love to be able to internally route all that mess to clean up the bike.

I use to be an Indian Dealer. The Chiefs from 1999 to 2003 all had internally routed wires...a ***** to work on but really cleaned up those beach bars.
Nice work!

No wires or zip ties over my handle bars,
I got 1 1/2" bars with internal wiring.
