I put TOR'S on my R111T and it seems to run a-lot better with the stock tune than the Triumph TOR'S tune although it didn't make a lot of difference with the overall power from the stock pipes. I guess my question is if I install a PC111 with the TOR'S and put it on a dyno will it make much of a difference in HP or would I be better off getting rid of the TOR'S, putting on a set of D&D'S and installing the PC111? I am just totaly confused.

is your cat gone?? if not, get rid of it and if you get a pc3, a dyno is still usually better than a canned tune. I had D&D's on my 07 classic, stock intake, had it dynoed and got about 130 hp and 138 tqr. i now have Jardines on. Either system cets rid of the cat.

If you are having the dealer load the tunes and not modifying them in Tuneboy or TuneEcu, then you are actually losing power because they have the secondary throttle plates closing more throughout the RPM range than the standard tune.

I would say the biggest benefit of a dyno tune is not picking up additional hp but have a nice smooth fuel map. I loaded dyno tunes that others had done for my same set up but none of them were smoother than any of the dyno tunes done with my bike.

Do yourself a favor (if you want more HP), get a TuneBoy load the "20235TuneModSEC100_Mod_138hp_final" tune, do the Tripple filter mod that's outlined on this web site, and be done with it. I doubt you'll want more. The difference is incredible. If you already have the TOR's I'm sure you can leave them on. I have D&D's and love the sound though. I doubt the flow is restricted too much compared with the D&D's. If anything it might run a little rich.

Just make sure you're pointed in a straight line before you grab a handfull of throttle in first!
