2014 Rocket III Roadster
As I am close to paying off my motorcycle; I am noticing same bike for sale on Ebay 2014 Rocket III Roadster selling for about 8900.00 with low mileage (2500) is this alarming to anyone else? Is this normal depreciation as we enter in the new year 2017 would make this bike only 3 years old. Has this bike depreciated more because of the end being near for this motorcycle due to EOL (end of life)

The depreciation on our Rockets and all motorcycles in general is the reason I promised myself several years ago not to buy another new bike. There are so many late model, low mileage bikes out there that are available that it doesn't make sense to me to buy new. I am not being critical of what you may have done because I have purchased a couple of new bikes. I just don't see myself doing it again. The up side to your situation is that you have had the bike since new (I am guessing), you know its history, and it will soon be paid for. Congrats on that!

Last four bikes purchased have been off the showroom floor. Knowing that once you ride off the value of the bike will drop a lot has never affected my decision. Given the milage I ride yearly I would be a fool to think that I would recover any of the money spent but the satisfaction of riding a brand new bike is well worth it.;););););););)
