Must be fairly high in altitude for snow to settle there. Been quite cool in Vic but I haven't seen any snow around my area as yet.

Be pretty unpleasant I imagine. At least homes down here are geared for those sort of temps, plus we're pretty much used to it. Looks pretty though.

I was on a construction site at Leslie Dam near Warwick 31 years ago when it snowed. I remember wondering why the sleet looked strange. It was snow, it was also the first time I had ever seen snow, so I didn't recognise it initially. Back then it was reported as the first snow in 50 years. I remember it clearly because I rode my bike 20km to work that. Nothing compared to what our international R3 owners cope with, but bl##dy cold enough for this Queenslander.

I rode to work today and it felt nowhere near as cold as a couple of days we had last winter.

No snow around here it is a bit cooler then usual tho we have actually had a couple of frosts more than the norm ... usually lucky if we get two or three in a winter we are only just past half way into winter and we have had 5 or 6 already I have seen that many in one winter since I got the hell out of icy Canberra 22 years ago

Last time i spent winter in Kabul we had 3 foot of snow in one 24 hour period , had to keep throwing buckets of hot water on my reverse cycle aircon , i hate snow.
