I'm another one who uses mesh with armor. The Joe Rocket mesh is labeled nicely. I always wear a helmet and most of the time leather gloves. Short Alpinestars with vent holes does OK in the summer. I have the mesh pants but most of the time I wear blue jeans. I have a new left knee that is stainless steel that I put in Nov. 22, 2010. I really ought to think about protecting that shouldn't I?

my gear of choice. doesnt look too bad either. now... i dont have any protection for my legs or feet. something i am looking into at the moment.

after reading this article i may have to try it out

Hey, the britches that fella is wearing in that pic look a lot like the britches Gene Simmon wears. That fella better be careful. If Gene catche's him, he might give that fella a tongue lashing, literally!

biker1059, I mentioned carbon fiber to the doc but he assured me that for maximum irritation to the TSA that stainless steel was the way to go. So far that's been true, however my requests for a female to do the pat-down have all been refused. Maybe the "Geezer Patch" will help in that area?:D

I wear a Triumph mesh jacket in the summer. Not only is it cool because the wind blows through it but it shades the skin from direct sunlight.

I wear a Triumph Mesh jacket (the rain cover is in a pouch in the back and goes on over the jacket) and drag- in- jeans or vented overpants. I'm on my second jacket only because it faded so much.

I also have the truimph mesh jacket. It's nice. It's great on the interstate. It does get hot in traffic, but what doesn't? As long as air is flowing through it, it's not bad and it blocks the sun too.
