I couldn't find the post, but someone here used 2" 22 degree pvc plumbing fittings to move the location of their K&N filters a bit forward, seemed like a good idea. I have 1770s (with the angled flange) for my Touring, but they interfere a bit with leg position.

I picked up some 2" fittings, but when I went to do the mod, I found that the 2" ID of the fittings was noticeably less than the 2 3/16" ID of throttle bodies. I have to believe that restricting the intake that much, (16% less area, in cross section, I believe?) coupled with the 22 degree bend, would more than negate any benefits of the increased airflow the K&Ns offer.
