A couple of lads on their "superbikes" decided to show me their heels today pulling away from the lights so for the sake of the old bikes modesty I opened the throttle a tad and we all shot off together.

Now this is not the 1st time that I have indulged in quick starts but here the rub :- at the top end of revs in the 1st few gears the old lady seemed to run out of power ( I obviously don't open her up enough). Is this the famous 7% power reduction or was I hooning it too fast?

Get a tune boy , up your rev limiter a smidge , and get rid of the nasty 7 % reduction

Tuneboy makes a noticeable difference at the traffic light GP.

Try it...you don't have to use the power, but it's nice to have it when you want it

shift sooner and stay on the power,
also you can remove your secondarys without out retuning
