Popping out of 2nd

My 06 has been in the shop for a week awaiting teardown of transmission for the 2nd gear hard to get into and 4th gear popping out problem Will update post as soon as they open it up. I'll be taking pictures and post them of what they find inside. This comes a month after having the throttle bodies replaced to solve the high idle problem.

My Bike went down to Newnan Georgia to have the fabled Kit installed. From what I am told it upgrades the transmission to RIII Touring Spec.
All I know is it never shifted as well as it does now. There is a ticking noise that i am told is the improved cam chain tensioner. The kit includes shifter forks, gears, cam chain sprockets and other misc parts. I had the sam problems you are having. They are all gone now with over 1200 miles since the work was completed two weeks ago.

Who did the work and how much was it? :?

Templar, ditto, who did the work?
By way of update, I have been more successful getting a fast 1-2 shift near redline, but not 100% of the time. I am practicing, but it should not be this hard. The tranny sucks.
Another weird fact; It seems to shift better COLD, and pops out more easily when hot.
Still love the bike, but not looking forward to finding a dealer to fix what must cost a small fortune in parts and labor.

Mine has been at the dealer for a while awaiting the same "upgrade kit". This is the 6th **** weekend they've had my bike. This had better be worth it!!

I stopped in to check on my bike which they've had for two weeks and the factory was sending the Upgrade kit. Should be in this coming week and incompass every issue to date including some things I've never even read about on any of the forums like the "new speedo wiring harness".

I know there was a ton of things in this upgrade kit. The shop I was at won't even go into all the details. The wait continues.... :?

Does this Upgrade Kit cost you any money?
Is it warranted for all newer bikes that are having trouble with the bike popping out of gear?
Mine does it, I know its quirky, it does it a little less often now that I have learned to fiddle with the clutch & MAKE SURE its really in gear and the 2500 miles I now have on it.
I'm just wondering if I should take mine in to the dealer, tell them about it popping out of gear or just deal with it.
Its scary off the line, when there is a line of cars behind me and I start to go, get about 3 feet, and it jumps out of first .. unnerving to say the least! argh! :x

I would think it would be a warranty issue (if you're still covered). Mine was only out of coverage for about 2 weeks, but Triumph is footing the bill anyway... I guess I shouldn't complain too much!

when my bike was new I had an issue with it going into 1st and popping out of 2nd occasionally  when I had my 1st service the dealer did a complete clutch adjustment and the problem was solve not a problem since :!:
