Picture worth veiwing

I'm going to become suddenly violent if my boyfriend tries to convince me one more time that the R3 isn't safe for me to ride because it is too big. I'm a painfully conservative rider, but I appreciate all that torque on the freeway when people are behaving like drunk old ladies.

Is it just me, or does my entire generation need to be taken by the ear and taught that there should be courtesy on the road, too?

Hey!
@CanberraR3 says you be a dude and funning with our older, not so bright Mates!
Is this really true????

It sort of reminds me of the 76 year old female part time pensioner/sex line worker on the news just recently ,you never know who is out there in cyber space:eek::sick::unsure::cautious:
GOOD GODS, I AM NOT A MAN! Going to post a pic tomorrow as proof. You'll even see my temporarily pink hair. Also, that is what you get for going on sex lines. The internet has brought "camming" into the forefront of online gross stuff. Seeing is believing.

How did we get here from big rig blind spots?

I was actually only kidding and hope you don't feel you have to prove anything on my account. I reckon you should keep them guessing. ;)

I don't think it's about courtesy, necessarily, more about that many just don't realize they're piloting a two ton death machine that can kill people in the twinkling of an eye if they don't pay attention. It's not discourtesy, it's just stupidity and carelessness - like when one idiot stops in the left-hand lane to chivvy some ducks off the road, killing two riders who plow into the stationary vehicle, or another idiot is literally applying makeup while driving to work, and many other incidents where drivers just don't realize that driving a car is something that requires 100% of your attention at all times.

In Oz one of the many hazards are not so much road rage but super aggressive/competitive drivers who take it as a insult or a challenge if someone over takes them or tries to merge in front of them as roads converge into one lane ,as for our roundabouts it is a large scale dodgem car (in the US you call them bumper cars) track ,our licensing system also needs an overhaul as well you need to do a driving test to drive a little truck like a 4tonne Tabletop but a Car license entitles you to drive a 2.5 tonne 4WD and tow a 3.5tonne caravan at 110 kph ,I have seen the results of these situations in wrecks on the highways over the years,
End of Rant :banghead:

Agreed, driver training needs to be serious and take time. If you just take a kid and hand him/her the keys to a massive SUV it doesn't send the right message about the importance of knowing ones ****.
