Killer is I'm chasing ABS. Now a roadster arse on a touring would be sweet but I should be able to sort out the exhaust mount (just a single planned at this stage) and maybe get a couple of poished aluminium skirts for the guard. I'm sure you'll be able to help me get a few idea's turned into reality mate! But ****, the standard is bloody nice
And by the way, the Standard's the pick of all of them for mine. Classic is good too if you want boards and more relaxed riding position. Roadster pegs are too far back - which for some reason some people prefer . Touring is, well, for touring.
And I'd save a grand mate, . Me knees cant handle a foot back position. Keen as mustard on the touring tho' and just trying to get a few plans right in my head. Getting a bit carried away (as usual for me ) but hell, I'd be doing the same to any bike I buy. I like to think of it as maintenance and that I'm lucky I dont have a missus to answer to!
Aussie made forays are another good alternative, my opinion better looking to, it' a shame that Sam (lazaras)the guy who made my headers is not taking more orders because my header design was originally made to go a similar muffler "thugs" to the shorty's but more efficient. I wouldn't count on it but if you asked him real Nicky he might make you a set if you are not in hurry cos he is busy with his Real job, worth asking?
Real nice note on that shorty. Thanks for posting up those ideas fella's, look's like a plan! I appreciate all the replies, hadn't really considered a shorty but after hearing that I reckon it might be a goer. I'll have a think about contacting that bloke Hanso, cheer's for letting me know about him mate.
