pcv is out

I have a couple a queries =D

I'm using TunECU to get the map closest to my setup, this i piggybacked by a PCV and an autotune but its going to be about 1500kms before I can hit up a dyno to make sure everything is sweet and as some have eluded to the autotune isnt just plug and play.

So does anyone have first hand experience of setting it up - I know I need to slect an AFR for the autotune to aim for - anyone got recommendations on a ratio heard 12.8/1 was perfect but even PC autotune manual recommends figures different to that.

Just dont want to kill my new bike lol

Pig9r has given a couple a pointers but not sure if he's fitted his yet.

I set mine to 13.0 on 100% throttle and walked it up 0.1 each throttle position. leave the 0% throttle at 0. if you don't your idle will jump up & down all the time.

13.0-13.1 produced the best power so far on the dyno also. the reason for stepping it up 0.1as you step down TP is for a little better fuel economy at cruising speeds

Thanks for the info . just hoping it all gels well with the tune ecu map!!

You are going to want to be around 13.0-13.1 at peak power (6000 rpm) at WOT, tapering to 13.2 at 6500 rpm. At peak torque rpm, you are going to want to be a bit richer ~12.8-12.9

At part throttle work a few tenths leaner, and at cruise, run at Stoichiometric.

Expect the sensor to vary +/- 0.1-0.2 from actual when new. As it gets older, is will vary more.

If you start altering ignition advance, the target values will be a bit different. And watch the ethanol amounts in the local fuels - 10% is normal, 30% is not as uncommon as many think.

The best way to do this is actually with Lambda values, but getting Dynojet to understand this is frustrating.
