Just a cursory look suggests there are no differences. You can download them and compare them as well as me.
HTFWIK there was a difference if I hadn't already compared them.

A big difference is quite apparent when graphically displayed: at the upper reaches of TP and in the 3200-4400 RPM area. Could it be to compensate for bag and/or screen drag and avoid the likely lifting of the front end as easily as on a base model?

My standard has bags and windshield. You're right about the differences in the upper right corner but I don't think this is relevant. The left axis of the L tables is actually manifold pressure (MAP), not throttle position. The problem with decel popping doesn't involve the upper part of the table, where the throttle is open. Popping happens at closed throttle. It's the lower part, up to about 544 mb. in a fairly narrow rpm range from about 1500 to 3000. I ran Wayne's simple logger program which records TP, MAP, and RPM and noted where I was getting the popping. Wayne sent me back L tables enriched in the area I noted above. He put in values of 610-650 in the bottom row, which were zeros in the stock.

I'm looking for possible or likely reasoning behind these subtle differences. I'm sure not going to get the straight skinny from the manufacturer, hence the simple question of what is your guess; or anyone else's.

Curriously there are at least three distinctly different 2ndry throttle tables. Tables that when displayed graphically are quite an eye opener. I got a grip on why those set up for the French and German cycles are as they are: limitation on horsepower. On the otherhand, why is there be such a major difference between 20141 and 20150, partiularly the former. 20149 is likewise severely limited in the mid section. I'll wager some greater degree of influence can be attributed to obtaining a higher miles per gallon rating. And there has been a fairly wide range in reported MPG, driving habits aside.
