I have seen a few photos of this done and it is the look i want until I can justify fitting a slimmer radiator.

The question is how do you paint chrome? The radiator shrouds are plastic and the bearclaw metal. I imagine the grill would be best powder coated.

Thanks

You'd want to scuff it really well to give the paint something to bite into. Then hit it with a high-quality basecoat/primer/sealant (ask at a paint and body shop and tell them what you're doing). Go over it with a tack cloth once it's dry to get rid of any dust before painting and I'd recommend having a paint shop do the clearcoat with a UV protecting clear.

Hope that helps.
