I noticed a new sound yesterday that seems to go away once the bike warms up,
This morning before leaving for work I went around the bike and checked the tightness on every bolt I could find.
If you listen to the clip it's the sound you hear at the end of the first 3 revs, it seems to get less noticeable after that.
Any ideas what it could be?
Try putting it in gear and pulling the bike backwards hard. this will put the cam chain slack on the adjuster side and if it is close the adjuster will move to the next tooth.

Why and how do the knowledgable people on this site know more than the manufacturer or dealers? I never mind paying qualified personal to work on my vehicles, but I am usually disappointed in the outcome!

THE ROCKET OWNERS HAS TO KEEP GOING TILL THE BIKE IS FIXED The the dealers don;t have to keep on trying.
mechanics that take on the hard problems knows what is wrong the next time around.
it is good that the rocket owners post problems and solutions so it saves us a lot of time trying to figure it out our self.
It's hard to catch but at the very end of the 1st couple revs you can hear it.
I sent the link to the service dept at Modesto Triumph they told me it sounds like the cam chain adjuster and have ordered me another. It's covered by the extended warranty
