Oxford Heaters Throttle Fit for Rocket 3 Touring

I picked up a set of Oxford Heaters heated grips at the dealership today and went to install them on the rocket. I can't seem to fit the throttle side on the plastic slide though. I carved down the ridges along the outside circumference but the grip still won't fit over the slide. Anybody else run into this? This is listed as a fitting part under Oxford's site per the dealerships parts Department. I have a call in to the dealership and I will post results for anybody else looking to buy these.

Well per the company I had to shave down all of the nubs on the plastic slider and the grips fit over very snug. I tried to reposition it a little but I couldn't even get it off again so I left it. FYI if you buy the same grips, at least I know it's not going to spin inside the grip or fall off. I just wish I positioned exactly where I wanted before I pushed it on all the way.
