If you’re finding both bearing fragments and aluminum shavings in the sump, it unfortunately sounds like the failure may have progressed beyond just the commonly discussed torsional damper bearings. The early backwards-installed damper bearing issue is well known on some Rockets, but aluminum debris usually suggests a housing, carrier, or shaft has started getting damaged as well, possibly from the bearing coming apart and allowing things to run out of alignment. At that point it’s definitely worth inspecting the rear housing, output shaft area, and torsional damper assembly closely because once bearings disintegrate the debris can travel everywhere through the engine.
