Ordered the 2025 BT Moto tuner

Got the tuner today from bt moto. Its not to hard figuring it all out, loading it on the bike was the easiest part because my laptop is from 2017 and is beyond slow.

Pretty much you go on bt motos site, go to resources and type in your bike. You find where it tells you to download for windows to get their app. Follow the prompts to download that to get the app on your computer.

Once you get the tuner, you plug it into the usb port then open the app. The app will ask if you wanna undate the app and the tuner so you select yes and wait for that to get done.

Once the tuner is updated you go to the bike, plug in the obd2 plug, find your bike and year range on the tuner and select it. Then you hit work and follow the prompts to read the ECU in the bike.

Once thats done you go on the computer, open the app so you can download the ECU info into your computer.

Then you open bt motos website, go to dashboard then your files to upload the ECU file you just saved to your computer. There will be a short questionair to ask what mods you made and things like that, then submit it.

I submitted mine at 4:30 and had my tune file sent back by 5. So you go on bt moto website under dashboard then my files and download the new file to your computer.

Open the bt app on the computer, connect the tuner to the usb port and select upload file to tuner to get the modified ecu program onto the tuner. I had some issues here trying to figure out where I saved the mod file, but I eventually figured it out, the video for that will be chopped up so you dont have to watch me fumble around for 3 minutes, which is why it will seem kinda weird.

After u have the mod file u go to the bike and reconnect the obd2 cord, go to work and select the mod file, it should be the only one there. After that follow the promps till it says complete. Takes 5 minutes for it to load up.

Unfortunately I can't ride the bike till it warms up around here which isn't happening anytime soon.

Ill post the video links tomorrow.

I had to go to a BT moto "partner" and have it loaded into the bike because all I have is a chrome book, and I think it needs a Windows OS. Same as my dynojet PCV on my KTM. Certainly a drawback of Chromebooks. But I'm used to them now...... Anxious to hear your thoughts when you get to take a test ride.

Yea I was really hoping my old laptop would do the trick. It did have a few hang ups but I was able to work through it. I would have had to go to my moms 20 minutes away otherwise. I will definitely make an update post once I take it for some rides, probably some time next month.

Here are the videos basically showing the steps of copying the original ecm tune onto the tuner to loading the modified tune to the bike. Doing this on my phone so I may edit some stuff later if its not quite right.

If you hit the expand arrows on the video so it opens to full screen you can see the screen on the tuner clearly.

First thing you need to do is log into your account on BT Motos website, go to resources and download their app my genius for windows. The ICON will appear on your desktop. Everything else you need on the website will be under the dash board tab.

So this video should show loading the stock ecm file onto the tuner.

This video will show loading the stock ecu file from the tuner to you computer.

This video will show how to send the stock ecm file to BT MOTO on their website. You will also have a list of questions it asks about any mods you made, tire size and how you ride

This video shows how to load the modificed tune from BT moto website and onto the tuner. You basically download the new tune from their website to your computer then open the app you downloaded off their resource page to upload it to the tuner.

I suck at editing videos and I was having trouble finding where I downloaded it to so I had to cut a bunch of video out. What it dont show is me clicking on the my genious ICON to open their app to unload the file to the tuner

This is the final video of me uploading the file to the bike. It takes 5 minutes and is pretty straight forward.
