One more in the crew

G'day and Welcome from one of the Aussies. If you have a Standard/Classic or Roadster model I'd suggest buying a Classic clutch cable (3 inches longer) everything else fits fine with the Rivco risers (assume that's what you meant with 1 up 2 back)

Wow, didn't realize this was the ARC (Aussie Rocket Club). That's great though, I live in Washington DC and happy to hear other voices. How's that song go "but have you been to Alice Springs?" I haven't YET.

Gotta check the clutch issue, not usually that good with a wrench. Have to find out where to get the cable - buts that's just one of many R3 adventures ahead of me. (If it were one of my BMW's, I could name three sources without thinking.)

Thanks, Tomcat.

Never heard that song to be honest. Clutch cable is a stock Triumph part. If you use the search function you'll find detailed instructions on swapping the cables ..piece of piss as they say in Alice Springs

Welcome from Florida. Alice Springs is a chicken dish from Outback steak house. Tastes great with a frosty mug of Fosters......:cautious:

Welcome mate. With a name like Redwombat I thought you were going to be (another) one of us - or as I sure a fair few of the others would be saying, yet another bloody Aussie.

G'day Redwombat and welcome , I hope you know being called a Wombat in OZ is not a term of endearment ,actually Wombats are notorious for their eating and leaving trait ,they, eat roots, shoots and leaves totally vegetarian
