When I bought my bike from walter, it had lots of mods as some of you are aware. Turns out that riding a passanger the way it was setup was extremely uncomfortable, to say the least. Since I am frequently 2up, I had to do something. Otherwise the ladies would ride with someone else. :lol:
The rear of the bike looked like this.
The plate was monuted to a pad that sat between the sissy bar posts.
This pad prevented a dual tourer seat from going down all the way. I tired removing the foam from the pad but it wasnt enough.
So, I came up with this rig;
(yes it's nasty, lots of rain lately)
I replaced the pad and 3 metal brackets and 6 screws with one polished stainless steal plate and 2 screws that I found on ebay, they have the triumph logo on the heads.
Ok, laugh if you want to, but I think it looks ok.
I also fitted some inexpensive hard saddlebags $45.
I didn't want to spend a fortune on them because I only plan on running them when I take road trips. But I do like the embedded flashers. Since the bags hide my flashers, they come in handy.
