When I bought my bike from walter, it had lots of mods as some of you are aware. Turns out that riding a passanger the way it was setup was extremely uncomfortable, to say the least. Since I am frequently 2up, I had to do something. Otherwise the ladies would ride with someone else. :lol:

The rear of the bike looked like this.

The plate was monuted to a pad that sat between the sissy bar posts.
This pad prevented a dual tourer seat from going down all the way. I tired removing the foam from the pad but it wasnt enough.

So, I came up with this rig;
(yes it's nasty, lots of rain lately)
I replaced the pad and 3 metal brackets and 6 screws with one polished stainless steal plate and 2 screws that I found on ebay, they have the triumph logo on the heads.

Ok, laugh if you want to, but I think it looks ok.

I also fitted some inexpensive hard saddlebags $45.

I didn't want to spend a fortune on them because I only plan on running them when I take road trips. But I do like the embedded flashers. Since the bags hide my flashers, they come in handy.

Oh, I've had several jump on when all that was on there was the corbin fast gun seat. Only a few miles down the road they are punching me in the back sayin, "you gott take me back" I've rode girls on the back of a chopper with nothing but a hotel towel. This setup was much worse.

Out of curiosity one day, I slipped back agains the sissy bar and have to admit, I would not of lasted long. Felt like I was sitting on a tightly pumped basketball. .

The bags were attached with the easy brackets. My only complaint with the easy brackets are that they are rediculoulsy heavy. Way overkill. They were very easy to mount. 20 minutes max. I bought the bags at my local flea market. But I have seen some like them on ebay.

Hold on, I'll see if I can track a set down...

Yea, they got some on ebay. I'm not selling this stuff so don't jump on me for posting this;

These are made of Plastic. They are cheap. But if your looking for something to use only occassionally, they work fine. I peeled off the little japanese lock sticker and am planning on gluing a triump hat pin logo to each one. The embedded lights are nice and bright, easy to wire up. They look pretty good from the sides, but from the rear, they look a bit small to me. That giant fender on mine dwarfs them. My rear fender is much flatter than the stock fender so it just looks wider.

Again, these are cheap. I bet if you had just a minor crash or dropped your bike, they would bust apart. I plan on running them on my trips to bike week, taking them off when I get there. They are off right now.
