Oil level

Hi everyone today I checked the oil level to my roadster that has 7500 km, I turned it on for 3 minutes and then waited 10 min and checked with upright position. The level marks the min I tried several times even after 3 minutes having turned it off. I wanted to know you when oil ranges between the min and the maximum thank you

Try running it for a minute or so. Then shut her down count to 30 and check it.

Thanks for the answer, I kept the control always at the slightest just just above about half a millimeter....
I'm a bit worried about how much is the gap between min and max

I am probably going to have the piss taken for this, a numpty, newbie question but here goes......if my bike isn't ridden for say a week or more, the oil doesn't show on the dipstick at all. Is this normal? There are no leaks

The oil has drained into sump, some leakage I'd normal. Once you start it oil level will return to normal

Yes, thanks anyway, I searched the forum properly and found a thread all about it, I will have to drain some out now I think
