Im in Perth and also worked down there(I think it was called Observation City then, but its Hotel Rendevouz now) for a day putting some fire insulation in.I was mainly working at the Casino spraying fire proofing on the steel which was going up at the same time.
The Lookout has been shut for a few years now,I think they lost their liquor lic due to the amount of blood spilt down there.

I occasionally drank at the old Scarborough Hotel ,usually on Sundays.
I was just looking at some old pics of the hotel, its a shame they demolished it.

Has anyone put a liquid gasket on the Cam Cover? On my 05 rocket the cam cover is leaking a little oil. I have used a liquid gasket before on an old dessiel truck that i once had and it seemed to work just as good if not better then a regular gasket.

I was just wondering if anyone has done that yet on there rocket?

You can but as long as you have to tear it down to get at it you might as well change it. Not to mention you would have to degrease it so the permatex would stick to the surfaces.

Might have some fun filling in the four half-moons with liquid gasket!!!

I wonder how much clearance the cam cover would have on the cam gear without the (rather thick) gasket in place????

Have you tried nipping up the cover bolts?? Are the leaks from the half-moons? (which are the hardest bits to seal)

Go with what Warp says, buy a new gasket!!

I had an oil leak from the cam tensioner on the right front side of the motor. It did streak oil backward at speed before I noticed it and it did require a new gasket to correct the leak. Just thought I'd mention this, though it sounds like this is not the source of your leak.

this is true i would have to degrease it., it might be more work then i am thinking. i will take it apart and see. but a gasket may be the way to go.

thats a good point about the gasket clearance and the cam cover with the cam gear!!!! No i havent tried the cover bolts yet; the leak is not bad at all its just noticeable but it drives me crazy; So i will try my torque wrench and see what happens. i think i will go with the gasket
