I've almost done the same thing, removed a bolt instead of the plug. Now I use a Xerox of the plug pattern from the manual. I've also thought of adding a dab of paint to each plug but then I think I'll remember when it comes to make the change the next time which I never do. As an aside, why the three drain plugs?

One drains rear of the sump , one drains front of the sump and middle one drains the oil tank ! :thumbsup:
 
Thanks for the quick reply. But any idea why they would wouldn't integrate both sumps. I had an original 750 Honda and the dry sump system for that particular model had one drain plug. Just a thought anyway.
