Oil change problem

I am half way through changing the oil. I have removed the three sump bolts and the oil filter. The oil was flowing from each hole and the filter hole. I removed the oil filler plug and the oil level is showing as full. I estimate only about half of the oil is in the pan. I have turned the motor over without starting it to see if that helped. It didn't. Any ideas?

I hope I have forgotten something blindingly obvious, but I have changed the oil previously without a problem.

I'd guess you remover one of the tapered pipe threaded plugs instead of the central drain plug.

It would be easier if Triumph had given the tapered plugs a different size hex head than the drain plugs . I have almost made the same mistake myself in a Mr Magoo moment !
