Sadly, I just wenter to update the ECU to a premade CES tune.... cable went bad, **** it. Going to have to wait to get my custom tune finished and posted, as well as for the dyno until it gets here. In the mean time WOOHOO she's fun lol.

Get those K&Ns on pronto!
You have just felt the power KISS, but it was from your sister!
After the K&Ns and a good dyno tune, you'll feel the tongue from the Aussie surfer babes -

It's here! OH SNAP!

the new exhaust is here is on it fit well but not perfect.let no one fool you it is not quiet when you open it up but cruising it is very well mannered and my wife should have no issue if I'm slow and steady with the noise. Took it out for a test drive and the extra power up top is definitely noticeable however there are some fueling issues I need to work out in the 2000 to 2500 range, a small bog. the extra bottoman end torque is also noticeable and we had our first slideways issue in the parking lot at only half throttle lol, no falls though.
Fit well but not perfect? What did you have trouble with? Your the first I've heard that wasn't perfect.

I fit the headers then slipped on the muffler, tried aligning the muffler mount holes with the holes on the bike and they were off by about 1.5 cm. A bit low and a bit too far towards the back of the bike. Put a screw driver in the back holes, pried a bit until it aligned and tightened the front bolt. Then installed the passenger peg.

Not far off but enough that I wold reckon some less experienced mechanics might be tied up by it. It was like the expansion joint was a little too shallow to let it fully align.

I think now I remember @1olbull having the same problem. Did you get the standard muffler or get something different done?

Great memory, bruce!
I did, but after fiddling it pushed on perfect with a little force.
No alterations were necessary.
LOVE MY CES!!!

Slightly longer than standard muffler. I'll have a fiddle with it today and see if I can get it to fit without any presure on it.

I have found that unfortunately two no Rockets frames are built exactly the same but I can tell having seen the jigs Trev uses there is no error there, when Trev was building my three muffler set up he used Les's (@ozrider) bike which has exactly the same muffler mounts as mine and I had to use a little bit of persuasion (big hammer and block of soft wood) to get them to line up on my bike. The header section should have been a perfect fit in the ports mine was:)
