Off to sunny Queensland!!

I'm off to the Ulysses Club AGM tomorrow, did a quick 200Km shakedown trip today to get the feel of the camper nearly fully laden, all went well. I have until midday next Sunday to be in Maroochydore to pick-up swmbo'd for the final 200 Kms to Hervey Bay.
I knew there was something familiar about your picture....:D

I am now in Brisbane, Queensland having done about 1250 Km's, camper tows like a dream, hardly know it's there, fuel consumption has taken a flogging though, 45 mpg down to 35 mpg!!.

Rocket is running slicker than goose ****!!!

Off to Caboolture tomorrow, and on to Hervey Bay Sunday afternoon.

Cheers,
The Kiwi.

Am I imagining or is that camper the spitting image of Hanso's?

When I bought my Rocket the guy had a camper, always regretted not buying it as well.
Yes he has then the same but an earlier model hence some small differences, and when he is ready I am going to help make a few mods.
I cant tell what his weights but my trailer with it extra storage underneath and 60 kg's of battery's weight in at close to 500kg's the base trailer with out any extra canvas is only about 160kg, not how much of the extra canvass Mal has but I have the a annexe and open awning as can be seen of this picture

It's been less than sunny Queensland today, I arrived in Brisbane in the rain yesterday afternoon and it hasn't stopped all day today, so I am very pleased I had a spare day up my sleeve. Heading to Maroochydore to pick up the Navigator at midday tomorrow, then 199 K's to Hervey Bay tomorrow afternoon, in fine-ish weather according to forecast. It's been nice visiting with friends including a 92 year old Great-Grand mother. I hope I'm as able and fit as her when I'm 72!!!!!

Cheers,
Mal the Kiwi.

On behalf of all the Queensland Owners .. apologies for the ****ty weather Mal. Enjoy the A.G.M .. hopefully weather will clear .. shortly
