...don't think it's any better down under during winter - we just had one of the wettest in years. One day when I was out the temp was only about 50F and it was raining so much that I lost ten's of minutes of riding time cos I had to stop and switch my sunnies for clear goggles

Saturday morning was -12C, 10.4F, 12" of snow. My usual Saturday would be getting up early, washing my bike and taking off riding. This cold Saturday consisted of my wife bribing me to stay in bed and making it "worth my while" (cue cheesy **** music), so I took a different ride.
