Not such a good x-mas present

Geez I had a one day growth too... glad to see you made it home safe with all the tourist in town, did you manage to follow my directions alright, that traffic will be like that now for the next 5 weeks, makes me glad I work at night the traffic eases otherwise it is pushbike (faster than car or motorbike) into town or 730am shopping trips.
Now don't get me wrong guys I did not say Peter Garretts music was bad but I saw him perform live and Not All of the songs they sang made it to the recording Studio and I am a Staunch Labour Man Myself but I just feel there have been times he could have done better, a few hollow promises and he is probally a decent bloke Too. My Step Uncle *****Adams is Labour member for Tasmnia and has actually done a decent job down there. Back on the baldness of Peter Garrett I always would have like to know how he got that High gloss polished finnish:D

Yes we did. Thanks for the quick route ;) That traffic would drive me nuts.
Was a pretty easy trip home, especially the completely free run up the mountain. :D

Skip, that link is a parody of one Midnight Oil's songs.
The real thing's perhaps not much better though.
I'm pretty sure I'll know your reaction to this clip ;):
Midnight Oil - US Forces (Live, 1983) - YouTube

Sounded a lot like the song I found, couldn't understand a word of it.
Those teenagers seemed to like it though....
was he queer too, or just acted that way as part of his stage act?
never heard of him or midnight oil, now I know why...
Thanks for letting me know I didn't miss nothin'...;)
like I said earlier, you aussie boys got strange taste in music..

Does nothing for me either

Look up a song called "Beds are Burning" it was pretty big ere' in the staits !

Oils had a heap of polically motivated songs .. they were a really popular band among the 'thinking class'. Their songs still get everyone up and bopping when they get played at parties. Parties that i get along to anyway :p

Yes the Oils, hmm never started thinking about the words till a little later on in life but yes one had to be a thinker alright.
Still enjoy their tunes today. I guess we do the same parties TC. ;)
