Noob Question

I got my 2018 Rocket III Roadster delivered from Concord NH about a week ago. I didn't even start it when it was delivered - I had to leave immediately to hop on a plane for work. I got home on Friday and tried to start the bike today and - it doesn't start! I read the starting procedure in the owner's manual. I did the following, in order:

1. Sit on the bike and put the kickstand up.
2. Make sure the kill switch is in the ON position.
3. Turn the key to the ON position.
4. Check that the bike is in N.
5. Push the starter button.

All the electrical components seem to be operating. the needles go to pinned and back to zero. When I hit the starter button, there is a loud click but the bike doesn't turn over at all. Anyone have any ideas??

This could be the issue. I will have to buy a battery tender and charge it.

Tender will not do it.
These motors need juice and are fussy about a fully charged battery.
I recommend a good charger and a jump starter to carry on the bike.

Jump it. Let it run or ride it awhile. If it holds a charge then keep a tender on it.

My charger is a Schumaker SC4020 (no CA). My jump starter is a Noco GB40 1000 Mah.

You said ur kill switch is in the on position it needs to be in the off position cause if u have it on the on position it won't start
