non ethanol gas

Seems that more and more non ethanol gas is becoming available in my region. Anybody using it?

What would be the pro and cons?

Would it require a different tune?

I've seen 90 and 93 octane, about the same price as normal hi-test, of course 90 would suit the rocket nicely.

That's good news for you. We have in Washington but few in states like crazy California.

No you don't need to change the tune. I get better fuel economy when I put it in my bikes.

There is much information available on the Internet about ethanol fuel, why it came to be mandated, and the damage it can cause, primarily in carburated bikes, outboard motors, small utility engines, generators etc., that have rubber hoses and components in the fuel system.

The below web site lists the sources for non-ethanol fuel throughout the US and Canada. It shows quite a few in Maine.

Edit: I just checked California and is shows an increase from the last time I looked several years ago.

I dont think it runs any different, but there are many articles related to corrosion in the fuel system etc related to ethanol, plus playing havok on soft goods like seals and gaskets. Its hard to find fuel near me that doesn't have at least 10% ethanol.
