No tail light

tail light and license plate light stopped working. bulb is good, brake light works, replaced fuse. still no power to tail light. HELP! Diagram of tail light anyone?
I found that it is the yellow wire on the right side for power to tail light but where does it go under the tank or what should I check next? The ignition has been changed previously.

Do you have a car tire fitted on your bike. Just a thought.
I have seen another Rocket Captain who had a car tire fitted and the tire cut/ground the leads to the tail light because it was wider than the normal round profiled bike tire.

ehh might be onto something - last time I pulled the rear wheel, the tail light wiring is exposed inside the rear fender - might be worth a look to see if it's compromised.
