Did I miss something here. Called my dealer today. He told me that there will be no more rockets, thunderbirds, or speedmaster/ Americas. Only classics and sports bikes. Is this true. He told me they are already having some issues with getting parts especially with parts for accessories. Tell me it isn't so
If it is not making Triumph money dump it, quite surprised that the Rocket line has lasted so long, but then again I am one of the original owners have enjoyed the bike more than most but I do believe it has ran its course.
Lets just wait and see I recently heard is working on releasing a 2.8 litre Rocket from a reputable dealer ..... So lets just wait and see, maybe it will have a New Name like "Scud Rocket"
A friend of mine is head technician at a Triumph dealership told me that by law , Triumph are obliged to keep manufacturing parts for any model that is deleted from their line for a certain number of years .
That said , getting Triumph parts which are not basic service parts , does seem to be getting harder and it's bloody hard enough as it is
Step up the the Chinese pattern makers I reckon ?
