Wow! Really impressive.

I might have to try it some day when I'm in another location. Problem living up here in the Northeast is that with traffic and low speed limits, it's really hard to make good time/serious distance. Even without those limitations though, that is a great achievement for both of them, especially riding a naked bike with the wind beating on you for that extended distance. Well done!

I regularly ride with a couple of women who would put big biker types to shame ... in fact the last time a friend of mine went down to the GP at Phillip Island she decided to do just outside Sydney down, through the mountains without touching paved roads.
Rather share a tent with a woman than a bloke anytime.

Art, I really think that the best thing for you to do at this point is, instead of throwing out a rebuttal that "it's just a joke" - you really should apologize to Morris in public on this thread and you should follow that up with a PM to him and apologize personally.
When I read your post yesterday I came real close to replying that that was the absolute stupidest post I've ever seen on this forum. But I withheld because that would've been disrespectful to not give Morris first opportunity to respond. Now that he has, hopefully you realize that it wasn't funny, just down right stupid. I say that with full knowledge that I've said some stupid things on here also because as I make the disclaimer in my signature that I don't have that little thing in my head that keeps me from saying sh!t before thinking..... I do, however have the ability to go back & realize I did say something stupid, followed up with proper apology!
