newbie fae scotland

1956 bike good on you:D, where are you from quite a few of the master race (Scots) on this site but alas a few English also:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek: I was born and raised in Glenrothes left after the miners strike of 84 to escape pig faced thatcher.

Then why is this not under the correct flag?

Another history lesson, The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland is four countries rolled into one , Scotland, England. wales and Northern Ireland are joined together but separated by a common cause that being we usually do not like each other too much:D only kidding we get along fine ever since 1706/1707 although we do a lot of things as one country(military etc etc) a few things were kept separate like Scottish Law and English Law also the education system are also separate as is many more things.
Each country has its own flag as the union Jack is a combination of each flag, so asking why the Saltire or St Andrews cross is not showing is like asking why the Washington State flag is not under your name:D as America is basically one big country with 48 countries inside it.(not counting Alaska/Hawaii)

Gratitude for the lesson!
So to carry your State/Country analogy forward, Scotland is one of four states of Great Britain.

Welcome Crow. What are you ridding? Heritage looks good. I put a lot of miles on a couple of them (Harleys), but the power and ride of these Rockets has me hooked. Good to have ya. Come to Stearns, long swim.

Understanding part is easy what throws most people for a loop is the speed in which we talk:D for example listening to the average American is like putting an old 78rpm record on at the 33rpm speed:eek: also short and straight to the point if it is a yes or no question you will not get five minutes of pure rubbish.
Pmsl scot that is so true

Well to be totally honest I am heading to HD Edinburgh at lunch time to trade this heritage for the rocket ..already done the paperwork ...I'm really really disappointed and pissed off the rust underneath and front and rear panels that has started on the heritage so I've had enough it goes today and I ride away a decent bike and won't buy another harley again :D
