New V-Rod coming???

Welcome damaged, glad you jumped in the waters fine, so's the forum

Bohica..If I had jumped in the water I wouldent be Damaged...I have ben around this site for some time, but have cept to my self.

To get a VROD with a 240 tire you ned to buy a custom kit that fits the stock swing arm.

v-rod

Had a stranger on vrod sneak up on me a couple months back on a rocky mtn. backroad (RT>67). It wasnt stock. Had at least a hot pipe and filters. Was minding my own biz, and he zipped by! Me rolled lots of gas on and caught the bastard. Started hitting lots of corner
s and couldnt pass him ,but was on his ass, dragging the floorboards lots on my classic. Then we came up on traffic, and he started passing cars in blind corners in a sick frenzy! Me chilled and waited for passing lanes. Caught him again 10 mins. later and the race back on!
It starts to rain and he got scared and pulled of the road. (i scared too) A few miles up the road it was dry again and i see him coming in the mirror full blast! We hit lots of tight turns and he stuck with me close but couldnt pass as the r3 out pulled him big time past arc of corner.THe road got straiter and the v-rag got really tiny in me mirror!!!! End of story.

Did a bit more reserch and found that the 07 and 08 had 240/40/18s from the factory, just as pig9r said.

Wisdom

Damaged..... When the "Dilly Dali Lama" comes down from the mountain top (that would be Pig9r) it would be wise to learn from his wisdom......grasshopper ( that would be you).

Welcome to the site and glad you've chosen to say hello.

Yes They Do

Have friends down in Brownsville TX and he has the fat tire on the back of his V-Rod. Hers didn't 05 but his did 06. Looked nice.

Ain't nothing like that P-man. I just like to know my enemies well. Nothing more satisfying than smoking a SE V-Dud. But I have to admit they are fast for a Harley.

And after talking to guys that work at the HD plant in town, it has gone down even further on my list.

The Night-Rod Special is the only one that comes with standard 240 rear tire, I test rode one before I bought the Rocket and they are fast but not as fast as the Rocket. There is a guy with a NR that lives close by and every time I pull next to him he won't even look at me.

I played around with one but I was on my Speed Triple, he had no chance but the guy was crazy.

Hey Trumpete, the V-Rod you were talking about, was it orange or copper?
