Ok Guys have never been down this road before, what would be a check list of required equipment is it as simple as a laptop, a lead and appropriate tune ?

I have a USB cable on order, I have a lap top and of course the most important part a roadster with an attitude

What year is your bike. What is your exhaust and what is your air intake we need all this information to help you with a tune.

Gday mate,
Help I need and thanks for the reply, the bike is a 2010 roadster with an under seat K&N, cat bypass and tors mufflers.
is all i need to start as i noted ?

cheers

Not just a USB cable, but a USB cable that has an FTDI chip in line, and is USB on one end, and OBD2 on the other. Then you will need TuneECU software, which you can download. For cable the very best by far is the one from London Electric, or lonelec.

Hey John,
I ordered a "USB cable for triumph motorcycles Tune ECU" is this different or inferior to what you have described?
