2012 Rocket Roadster
I just bought a 2012 R3 roadster with 1000 miles. The thing is awesome. This is my first what I will call bagger as it has Corbin Beetle bags on it. I just sold an MV agusta 1090 Brutale to pay for it. I was considering and rode a streetglide and ultra classic but just didn't want to do the V twin thing. I was also considering a Honda F6b. I am really happy with my decision the bike would pull boulders out of the mountain it has so much torque. I live in the mountains of North Carolina and I am very surprised how well the bike does on the Blue Ridge Parkway. I have already ordered a Corbin Fleetliner fairing and will do a few more mods as time goes on. I figure at 62 its time to have a bagger but it sure is one with attitude.

Personally, I prefer "power cruiser" or "performance cruiser" over terms like "bagger". Though it is funny seeing a fully dressed R3 with it's front wheel in the air. Are there any other mods to your bike aside from the beetle bags? If there's nothing done to the air intake of the exhaust there's a few ponies lurking around that you can let loose with just a little effort.

Welcome from Cape Cod, MA. I have had a Valkyrie Interstate and a Street Glide. Those bikes cant hold a candle to the R3R. Excellent choice. This forum is full of well educated Rocket Riders. The Blue Ridge Parkway is on my list of rides to do. As well as the Tail of the Dragon.
 

It has a different seat, throttlemeister, and crash bars. I will look at intake for sure, I kind of like the ramair system its seems like a complete kit. As far as exhaust I kind of want to keep it a little quiet but I would like it a little louder than it is. I do like the look of the the Carpenter brothers pipes.
