New TFC price

got the call yesterday from the local dealer told me the price AUD $39,500 ride away.
I’m happy with that, better than the $45k as expected

Cool now thats 27500.00 usd I can think about how much more of a realistic price drop is needed to get in my pockets. I wonder if it from a rash of dealers getting stuck with them after the initial price shock.

I could be wrong, but I expect to see some discounts when all the hoop-la diminishes and the dealers have some collecting dust.

I still suspect they are chasing Ducati Diavel customers. The new R3 will need to stay in the 18-20 range to be competitive.

They announced the Daytona TFC, I think yesterday.

I know, for a fact, all the Thruxton TFCs did not sell out, saw one sitting on a dealer floor. Nice bike, but 21k nice?! I don't know about that.

The R3 on the other hand, I do not expect to sit around for long waiting to be sold.

Nice timing for the Daytona - Announced at MotoGP August in the UK.
Carbon makes sense on a repro Moto2 bike.

I think Truimph is giving us all a line of baloney. Hype to justify the price. Believe there will be a few Rocket TFC stuck on the showroom floor at the price they are asking for. A Diavel S sells for less and has a proven motor that has been around for awhile. The new rocket is very similar to the Diavel but being a new design engine with a much higher price tag just don't see it being a hot selling bike.Could be dead wrong but time will tell.

The weight I think is going to scare a lot of riders away, same as the original.
