Rocket 3, 2005
Hello everyone!
I got my Rocket 3, 2005 model just before winter time last year. Now I have been out riding a couple of times, and I really have to say: I love this bike!! It's so full of power and attitude!
I have one little issue though, wonder if someone knows. One of the earler owners had to replace the speedometer at odometer reading 16000 km. At the time I bought the mc the odometer showed 8000 km. So my question is: Does someone know have to wind the odometer reading forward? I would of course reach the real reading at 24000 km.
Anyone? Thanks for a wonderful forum!

WELCOME ya sure-you betcha from the States.
In the old days we could hook up the speedo cable to a drill motor.
Nowaday everything is electronic. I would inquire of @DEcosse as he's the sharpest tool in the 'lectric box that I know.

Welcome aboard. There is no way to change the speedo reading except to ride her :) so you have a low mileage 05 do not sweat it :D

A warm and hearty welcome form the UK fellow Rocketeer. As you say she's an awesome bikeand hopefully will give you lots of pleasure and huge smiles.
