48 year old been riding since i was 4, had a friend tell me about the rocket bike he had seen on a trip. I was curious and wanted to learn more. 4 weeks later I sold my beloved 1700 Roadstar and bought my R3. Now waiting for snow to clear so I can ride it. I work on my own bikes and am looking forward to reading everyoes ideas on here.
Welcome!!!! I, like yourself am very new to the Rocket, like you I have owned a Roadstar all be it the Warrior heavily modified but does not hold a candle to the Rocket. Just my observation, but there is so much knowledge on this Forum and these fellows will help in any way they can, someone is always quick to reply to a question no matter how silly it may be, no question has gone unanswered, and I have asked quite a few.
Never hesitate to ask, I'm sure at some time, someone has run into the same issue you have and has a fix, and the ideas you will get from some of these Beast that have been built and the Works of Art they are, is endless.
As I do every day and night, ENJOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
