Felt the investment was not practical considering the bikes value at the time. Also, Nearest dealer over 100 miles at that time, now about 30 mi

Hope you don't think you were the first rider who was disappointed in the lack of suspension on Gen1 Rockets.
Or lectrics, trans, dealer supplied accessories...

I did upgrade the suspension, front and back, on my 2014 Roadster and with the engine mods I think the old one is faster but it still does not handle or ride as well as the new ones.

I did the suspension on my 2016 Roadster in the form of Progressives in the front with grade 7 oil and purpose built Ohlins preset for me on the rear. Because i also ran a Bridgestone exedra max 55 profile on the rear, this lifted the rear too which will push the nose down onto the road a tad more helping with grip in cornering and also under brakes.

Congratulations on the GT! I'm picking up my R on Tuesday as well!! Almost bought an 05 Rocket and then a touring R but just didn't love em enough. This one's very different!!!!! Welcome from New Mexico!!!
