new owner questions

My new mistress has 11,500 miles on her and taking everyones advice I pay a bit more attention at stop to make sure i'm in gear, both rolling a little and slipping the clutch lever a little work. For the seat it's two piece both triumph, front is the low one back is jel and it is making a fool out of me. can't find anything to lock, turn, push, pull. The dealer near me is owned by a couple of brothers that love triumph but they are going thru changes right now and it seems like every employee is new & in training. I have triumph tors exhaust and decel popping is nonstop, personally I love the sound but, I wonder if the right tune's in her.

Here is a copy of the owners manual, it shows where the seat lock is located. Surprisingly it doesn't mention the pull ring on the left side
As for the decel popping I hate it, sounds like a poorly tuned engine to me. The dealer can install a "Tors" tune. It will still pop, but at least you'll know your not damaging anything. My dealer did it for free, that was before I bought Tuneboy tuning software. Nowadays you can get download "Tuneecu" software for free. You just need to buy the cable, usually less than $20.00. Do a search for tuneecu, lots of info available.

That owners manual and instructions helped, thanks. i found the service schedule with the owners manual it looks like the first owner took good care of it. I have triumph tors and a k&n under the seat, I need to buy the cable and see what map is running I will take reliability over power right now but even stock this bikes power delivery is so linear I dont feel the need to romp on it.
