New Owner of 2005 Rocket 111 w/10k orig. miles ( from orig. owner). In Central Cali.

Yup - Left the bags tho, not a bag guy. Former owner sold them off to a bag guy...
Oh great. I looked quick at pictures somebody else put up and took them for your bike. That I knew was red. If I didn't have mine already I'm pretty sure I would have just sent a shipper over and bought it sight unseen. It just looked like a great bike for a great price. Good luck with it. I don't know anything about the first gen. bikes, but there are lots of helpful guys here that do.

Thank you for the note. Bike just hit 10k miles so had the 10k service done (they don't give those away out here!) and new bat. installed. Logged almost 500 miles on her with the ride home and a ride to Big Sur yesterday. Getting to know the beast. These things are in your face kooooool. (That's Coming from a 71 year old guy whose been riding bikes since 7 years old and owned over 250 -- of all flavors).

I'm almost at 9K miles on my '24. The engines in these bikes always seemed like a small car. So a couple of hundred miles with proper maintenance and care? You're lucky to have the coast highway to ride. I've been out there a few times on my rides. Beautiful.
