They are two different bikes - both great, classy, powerful, great looking and an absolute blast to ride. I definitely think they are two very different incredible two wheel animals - but I do LOVE my new R3.
I'm blessed as to what I have (in my humble opinion) are three very different awesome pieces of machinery.

When Triumph first announced the Rocket they claimed a 0-60 time of 2.8 secs. I think this was likely to be before they made the decision to restrict the first three gears.

How's the duck for a long haul? Comfortable through a couple tanks of gas, or just enough for short pleasure rides? Sitting on one when they first came out was all the dealer would allow.

It positions the rider basically in a standard position - so I can easily ride it multiple tanks - actually all day.
I had a Duc Streetfighter before - awesome motorcycle - but extremely uncomfortable to ride. At my age, I need sit more upright.
