Welcome to the site from another Okie and hope you enjoy your bike as much as I have mine over the last year. I am not a guy that keeps a bike or a truck or any type of vehicle for very long. I am always looking for that next bigger better bike. I have being looking and I can't find anything that I think I will be happy with. So I guess I will just keep riding and looking. Same here, the r3 is the only bike that i had for over 5 years, before i used to buy a bike every year, from a yamaha vmax to a harley including sport bikes, now the r3 is the bike to beat in my garage, i would love to test ride the new vmax but i dont think i would buy one, at least not yet.

Gracias, im planning a trip next spring from Ensenada Baja to San francisco with another fellow r3 rider i think is going to be fun.
