new dark sider

Well here goes I dropped my rear tire tonight going to the shop tomorrow I will be on the dark side by tomorrow afternoon still having second thoughts on which brand of tire 245/50/16

Toyo 245/55/15 will rub indicator mounts, I like It, feels solid.

I'm running a Toyo Proxes4 245/50/16 30psi with no problems.

Well I ended up putting on Falken 245/50/16 ZIEX ZE-502 love the ride you do have to do a little counter steer in sharp curves but on the BIG Road Fantastic a nice smooth ride, also I am running 40 psi air. I am not a small fellow plus most of the time the better half is with me.

I was asked earlier what the Clearence Was it is just a little over a quarter inch between the drive shaft and tire.

Good luck with that 245. I run the 225 and have very little counter steer. I really like the way that the 245 looks but I had heard that it has been known to rub. I see you live in KY. I live out here in the flat lands and a square tire isn't much of a problem because there isn't a lot of twistys to ride. Hope you enjoy riding on the dark side, I know that I do. This is my 3rd bike that I have owed that I ran a car tire. The 1st was a 01 Boss Hoss then a 01 Valkyrie Interstate and now the 06 Rocket. I do have to admit that the Rocket took to the C/T better than the previous 2. Its almost like the Rocket was built for a C/T. IMO.
