New Carpenter Racing Pipes

On the dyno we test at WOT. WOT is going to be at a lower richer AFR then when we are cruising. Usually the set cruising AFR is anywhere upwards of high 14 to low 15. That is too lean to stay cool. My Dobeck Performance AFR Plus allows me to monitor my AFR at all times in real time. I have my WOT set at 12.8 and my cruise is set at 14.2. Before the Dobeck my right leg got very hot on the ECU tunes. With the Dobeck and cruise set at 14.2, I never feel heat on the right leg. I think you may want to consider testing and then adjusting your cruise AFR to something around 14.2.

Looks like an improvement, they are trying to get the pipes equal length, should help low end. Wrecks the theory of less corners in the pipe, eh Warp :). I agree with Hans re the 1 3/4" alloy block thingy.

Is there a point I wonder, where the restriction from so many bends over shadows any gains from equal length. Or is it more an issue of what rpm range your trying to improve ?

Hello all, Does anyone have a dyno graph for the sidewinder pipe, or the Brute for that matter? I am wondering what I could expect for horsepower and Torque with the Ramair filter. I have Tors with original crossover now. Thanks.
