Does the speedo and rev counter not get in the way when your down on the tank?

Have you tried selling your Speedo's advertising space yet to a sponsor.;):D:eek::roll::roll::roll::roll:

It aint a real record unless your are wearing a rubber swim cap and Speedo's with compulsory safety foot wear off course.

This guy Rollie Free was the real crazy and he went faster than the modern Rocket above back in 1948.

Note the straight black line on salt that allowed him to steer face down !!

Incredible in this or any era really!! The ultimate opposite to ATGATT!

Not lying on the 'spine' as stated below but just the rear mudguard.

Rollie Free - Wikipedia

Speedo bathing suit, a shower cap, and a pair of borrowed sneakers – inspired by friend Ed Kretz. This resulted not only in the record, but also one of the most famous photographs in motorcycling history, the "bathing suit bike" shot taken from a speeding car alongside his run on the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah.

Rollie Free, record run (to a speed of 150.313 mph [241.905 km/h])
On the morning of September 13, 1948, Free raised the American motorcycle speed record by riding the very first Vincent HRD (it is debated as to whether it was a Black Lightning or Black Shadow), owned by the California sportsman John Edgar and sponsored by Mobil Oil, to a speed of 150.313 mph (241.905 km/h).

I can see rectangular digital gauges, mounted along and maybe under(if room allows) the bars...they would be right there in the peripheral vision if your chin was low over the tank..just a thought...
nice work ...
